Boston Carnival attracts some 500,000 visitors to Boston every year. Mrs. Shillingford is a native of Jamaica and is very active in Boston politics. -sshillingford@BostonCarnivalVillage.com

Vice President Alan OliverVICE PRESIDENT: Mr. Alan Oliver brings to the organization an extensive knowledge not only of his organizational skills, but of Costume design and judging of the parade. He is a founding member and past president of the Boston Band Leaders Association, and served as the Arts and cultural director of the ICCA. Mr. Alan is an avid steel band enthusiast, he is never seen at a steel band event without his iron in hand. Mr. Alan is a native of Trinidad - aoliver@BostonCarnivalVillage.com

George WalcottTREASURER: George Walcott has been balancing the book for CACAB for some fifteen years now and is one of the founding members of CACAB. He is also a veteran fireman in Boston and highly sought DJ in the community. George is also a native of Trinidad.-gwalcott@BostonCarnivalVillage.com

Dr. Carl WhitworthEXECUTIVE SECRETARY: Dr. Cal B. Whitworth have been serving the his community for over eighteen years in the capacity of Lay Preacher of Greenwood United Methodist Church, Prince Hall 32nd degree mason, President of Caribbean Cultural Center (CCC), Coordinator Caribbean Culture after school program an is also currently serving as the Executive secretary of CACAB Inc. He is also the President / Owner of Mattapn Chiropratic and Rehab Center. Dr. Whitworth is a native of Jamaica. -cwhitworth@caribbeanvoice.org

Carl SmithPUBLIC RELATIONS: Carl Smith has been a member of CACAB for many year. Carl is also very active in the community and is the leader of his very popular Branches Steelband.Through Branches Steelband, many of the children in the community learn to play the steeldrum. For many it is their first and only exposure to a musical instrument, and many go on to making music a professional career. He is a Master Plumber and a member of local 12.
